About Me
I am currently based in New York City, pursuing a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design (MSAAD) at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP). I recently earned my Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University, where I also minored in Animation and Special Effects.
My education has shaped how I understand architecture as a practice grounded in observation, situatedness, iterative thinking, and intuition. I find it inspiring how place, material, and light can deeply affect people’s experience. I’m drawn to the subtle dialogue between form and context, and I believe that thoughtful design emerges from careful attention to the existing. My work focuses on the raw, immediate experience of being in a space, and how it can be achieved through detail, the honesty of materials, and the continuity between what is built and what is lived. Through a process that values curiosity, reflection, and responsiveness, I aim to create spaces that feel experiential, grounded, and connected its place and communities.
